The Moving Architects Make Their Kalamazoo Debut

Topics: Lifestyle and ArtsKalamazoo, MI (CNS) - The Moving Architects will make their debut at the Wellspring Theater at Epic Center in Kalamazoo on September 13, presenting Brass Figures.

Under the artistic direction of Erin Carlisle Norton, named the Best Choreographer in the Chicago Readers Choice Awards in 2008, Brass Figures reveals through contemporary dance and original music the literary voices of past and contemporary Chicago writers.
The show will be featuring the world premiere of "This Sandy Cube" music by composer Ian Hatcher, and excerpts from the acclaimed "1001 Afternoons in Chicago" with original music by composers Amos Gillespie and Seth Boustead.
Brass Figures features dancers Anna Goldman, Stefanie Karlin, Erin Carlisle Norton and Alison Riazi, with costumes by Lisa Stevens.
Lighting design is by Megan Slayter and original composition is by Amos Gillespie and Ian Hatcher.
