New York, NY (CNS) - Fashion designer Valentino has spent 45 years creating luxurious trends and red-carpet fashions.

Now that he has retired, the fashion world is paying tribute to the man who created some of our greatest glamour.

Celebrity News Service has learned that during New York Fashion Week, Valentino will receive one more send-off with an exhibit called "The Red Thread: The Inspiration and Passion of Valentino Garavani."

The exhibit will take place at The Grace Building at 1114 Avenue of the Americas.

The passion behind this exhibit is none other than Samsung Electronics, which means the show will be tech-driven. The show will be a five-room exhibition, the first in an ongoing Samsung Imagination Icon Series.

Each room will feature a different part of the design process, from Valentino's inspirations to behind-the-scenes in his workshop to Valentino's impact on the industry.

The show promises to be a masterpiece of Valentino, as it will also include his couture dresses and sketches as well as footage from the upcoming Matt Tyrnauer documentary "Valentino: The Last Emperor."

Following its stay in Manhattan, the exhibit will jump the pond and head to London Fashion Week. .
