August 28, 2008 6:36 a.m. EST Anne Lu - Celebrity News Service News Writer Los Angeles, CA (BANG) - Ben Affleck has been giving Matt Damon advice on coping with his newborn daughter Gia via text message. The actor - who starred alongside Matt in 1997 movie "Good Will Hunting," which the pair also wrote - admits he has been in contact with Matt and has also passed on some of his own tips on caring for children. Ben, who is expecting his second child with wife Jennifer Garner later this year, said: "I've kind of been texting Matt back and forth, and he's doing great and his wife Luciana is doing great." Matt - who also has a two-year-old daughter Isabella and a 10-year-old stepdaughter Alexia with Luciana - is also "thrilled" about the new addition to his family, according to Ben. He added to People magazine: "Anybody who has a child is excited, I think, no matter what the gender is. They are thrilled. The thing that people really want, when you get down to it, is a healthy child."
