"Private Practice's" Kate Walsh May Find Romance With "Gilmore Girl's" Star David Sutcliffe This Season

Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Addison Forbes Montgomery's love life will be heating up on ABC's "Private Practice" this season, and this is good news for her alter ego Kate Walsh. We were first introduced to Addison on "Grey's Anatomy," where the lovely doctor was part of a miserable love triangle -- and Addison lost out to Derek and Meredith.
So ABC gave Addison a spin-off show, "Private Practice," were she did some practicing, but mostly medically speaking. In the upcoming season, however, creator Shonda Rhimes has said that Addison is going to add a little love into the mix.
Celebrity News Service is gung-ho for Addison to have some romance, especially because her new suitor is actor David Sutcliffe. If his name doesn't ring a bell, how about Christopher Hayden? Yes, that would be Lorelai's Christopher, father of Rory Gilmore, on our much-loved and sadly-departed show "Gilmore Girls." Oh, how we miss Chris, and the Gilmore ladies.
David plays Officer Kevin on "Private Practice" (although secretly we will always think of him as Christopher). Either way we are happy to see him again and couldn't be happier that he will be courting the pretty Addison in the second season of "Private Practice."
Fans of the show know that Addison had a "thing" for practice partner Pete Wilder, played by Tim Daly, but Officer Kevin is not taking any prisoners. Yep, he will show up on the new season ready for duty.
"Private Practice's" season premiere will be Wednesday, October 1 at 9/8c on ABC. Catch up on episodes from season one by going to abc.com.
