August 28, 2008 8:44 p.m. EST Windsor Genova - AHN News Writer Chuluota, FL (AHN) - Fire ants that washed into a flooded home in this Central Florida community have bitten a 60-year-old man to death. Seminole County authorities announced that the victim died in a hospital Wednesday from shock and allergy caused by the ant bites he sustained on Tuesday. The man's name was withheld. The deadly fire ants were in a colony floating on floodwaters spawned by Tropical Storm Fay.
