September 4, 2008 4:14 p.m. EST Anne Lu - Celebrity News Service News Writer Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - KISS bassist Gene Simmons is facing a legal suit filed by a former business partner who accuses him of fraud and slander. As per the legal papers filed on Wednesday, Allan Brown claims the rocker cut him out of an Indy Racing League deal. Simmons allegedly signed a contract with IndyCar racing in 2006 to endorse the open-wheel racing series. He even co-wrote a song for them entitled "I Am Indy." Brown says he helped broker the deal between Simmons and the racing league, but while he was on a vacation, he was suddenly left out of the contract. Furthermore, Brown is upset that Simmons told the league that he was "lazy" and "rich." He is seeking unspecified damages.
