September 5, 2008 8:12 a.m. EST Matthew Harvey - AHN Sports Reporter Rye Brook, NY (AHN) -- Two potential NBA stars got off to an early start enjoying life as a superstar. They were reportedly caught with marijuana and women... during the orientation camp. The rules state there are to be no visitors during the four-day event. Mario Chalmers and Darrell Arthur, formerly of the University of Kansas, were expelled as a result of their rule violation. Chalmers is best known for forcing an overtime during the National Championships by hitting a jumper, which Kansas went on to win 75-68. The event is primarily concerned with teaching their newer players life lessons, financial planning, image tips as well as spelling out the rules of the NBA, including legalities, and how one should deal with the media. The exact penalties have not been determined. What's for sure, however, is they will be sanctioned during this year for a certain amount of time, then be forced to repeat the seminar next year.
