September 5, 2008 2:43 p.m. EST Linda Young - AHN Editor Aurora, CO (AHN) - A toddler and two other people were killed by an unlicensed driver in a hit-and-run accident at an ice cream shop. Officials say that Francis Hernandez, 23, was illegally driving on a suspended license and is being held on charges of suspicion of felony hit-and-run. He fled the scene but was apprehended a short time later. Hernandez was reportedly driving a sport utility vehicle too fast when he ran a light and plowed into a truck turning into an ice cream shop. The two adults inside the truck were killed when Hernandez hit them and the truck spun out of control and crashed into the ice cream shop where a toddler inside the shop was injured by debris and later died at a hospital.
