New York, NY (CNS) - Fashion is everywhere right now from New York Fashion Week to "Project Runway" to what the political candidates wives' are wearing.

When it comes to the political scene, "Project Runway" judge Nina Garcia is keeping her eye on the fashions of Cindy McCain, Michelle Obama and Sarah Palin.

Celebrity News Service has learned that Garcia would like to have Cindy McCain and Michelle Obama as guest judges on "Project Runway." In the meantime she is doing some judging of her own -- judging the fashions the political gals are wearing.

Garcia described John McCain's wife, Cindy, as a designer lady who wears Oscar de la Renta, bold colors, diamonds and pearls. She said that Barack Obama's wife, Michelle, is following the classic trend of former first lady Jackie Kennedy.

Vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is also on Garcia's radar and she said the Alaska governor would look great in Carolina Herrera.

Garcia did say she believes Palin needs to lose the glasses, and opt for Lasik surgery or contacts. Celebrity News Service has heard reports that Palin's glasses are pricey designer frames, however, and we also know that Palin's "librarian" look is a "much discussed" topic among the men in our country who think the librarian look suits Palin -- and makes her hot.
