September 6, 2008 3:32 p.m. EST Matt Aug - AHN Sports Editor Columbus, Ohio (AHN) - Ray Small roared 69 yards for a touchdown on a punt return, lifting No. 3 Ohio State to a 26-14 fourth quarter win over upset-minded Ohio Saturday. Brandon Saine bulled two yards into the end zone as No. 3 Ohio State took an 19-14 lead earlier in the quarter. Dan Herron scored on a one-yard touchdown run, helping No. 3 Ohio State close within 14-12 in the third quarter, which really got the Buckeyes going and started the Bobcats downhill trek. The Bobcats were undone by a pair of key turnovers and a dropped pass as they ran out of steam in the second half. Curtis Meyers recovered a fumble in the end zone for a touchdown, helping Ohio take a 14-6 third quarter lead. Donte Harden capped an 11-play drive with a 15-yard touchdown run, helping Ohio take a 7-6 halftime advantage. Ryan Pretorius' 27-yard field goal gave Ohio State a 3-0 first quarter lead. He tacked on another field goal in the second quarter to cut Ohio's lead to one point after Harden's TD. He missed the extra point kick following Herron's score, keeping Ohio's lead at two points. Ohio's defense held up well vs. the highly-favored Buckeyes, allowing just 117 yards of total offense in the opening half. Ohio also collected more first downs than its powerful foe, 7-6. Ohio State is ranked No. 3 in the nation by AHN.
