Pasadena, TX (AHN) - Texas police arrested a 38-year-old mother and her two teenage daughters for stabbing to death a 75-year-old man whom they robbed of $15.

Police arrested Dannette R. Gillespie and her 19-year-old daughter Vanessa Anne Ocampo and another 15-year-old daughter for the killing of Eugene Palma.

Reports said Gillespie gave her daughter the knives and told her daughter to rob Palma while she waited in their car.

Ocampo told investigators they went to Palma's bar and followed him home. She said their mother handed them the knives and "encouraged them to commit the robbery."

After stabbing the victim, Ocampo and her sister searched Palma's pockets and car and found only $15.

Witnesses told police they found the lifeless body of Palma in the driveway of his home in Houston suburb. The victim apparently died from several stab wounds.

Kim Nawrot, a bartender working at Palma's bar described his boss as a generous person who is always willing to give. He told the Houston Chronicle, "He would've given them money -- that's the crazy thing. He was the kind of guy that would've given anyone the shirt off of his back."

Unfortunately for the suspect, they left palm prints on Palma's car which led police to identify them.

The mother and daughters were charged with capital murder and were held without bail.
