Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Theme songs from TV shows have become a part of pop culture and many people will admit to whistling the theme song from "The Andy Griffith Show" or singing "The Brady Bunch" theme song. Here's a story, about a man named Brady... bet your singing that little ditty right now.

Celebrity News Service was pleased to learn that singer Josh Groban will perform a musical tribute to TV theme songs at ABC's upcoming "60th Primetime Emmy Awards" show.

The four-minute plus medley does include "The Brady Bunch" song, although many of the choices are being kept a secret. Groban has said it will be a fun and unexpected tribute, in both themes and arrangements.

Groban was actually introduced to the world on a TV show. Celebrity News Service remembers seeing him sing on the street corner on an episode of "Ally McBeal."

Now 27, Groban said many of the songs he will be singing in the tribute are from before his time. Younger television fans may be familiar with the songs thanks to re-runs, however.

About 50 songs were selected by an Emmy musical team and the choices were then narrowed down. "The Simpson's" and "Friends" theme songs made the cut but the rest we will just have to wait and hear when Groban debuts the tribute.

The "60th Primetime Emmy Awards" will air on ABC on September 21 at 8/7c.
