Colorado Boy Suspended For Wearing Shirt Saying, "Obama Is A Terrorist's Best Friend"

Aurora, CO (AHN) - A fifth grader in Colorado has been suspended for wearing a shirt that read, "Obama is a terrorist's best friend," according to MyFox Colorado.

Eleven-year-old Daxx Dalton was suspended by officials at Aurora Frontier K-8 School for wearing the homemade shirt. Students had been asked to go to school wearing red, white and blue to show their patriotism.

Dalton's father, who describes himself as a "proud conservative," plans to sue the district for violating his son's First Amendment rights.

Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL), the first African-American presidential candidate of a major party, has been fighting back persistent rumors that he is a radical Muslim. During the primary season, a photo of him in 2006 wearing traditional Somali dress during a visit to Kenya was widely circulated on the Internet.
