New York, NY (CNS) - Wannabe fashion designers can practice their craft on a new online fashion game that gives players a virtual sense of the fashion industry.

The Fashion Fantasy Game, fashionfantasygame.com, offers online portal for fashion enthusiasts that able them to get the feel of managing their own business. After registering for free, players can either create a profile as a fashion designer or a store owner, and they will be given a fashion tool kit that they need to start their creations.

Players will need to accumulate virtual currency, Fashion Bucks (FBz). Also, they need to garner fellow players' approval through networking for ratings and rankings.

The game also has their own Runway Magazine, where players can create real ads to advertise their designs or stores, and the R. Lilly Café, a live chat feature where they can chat through networking to promote their businesses. It also has a Personal Library feature, where members are provided with a place to show off their collection of virtual gifts and special downloaded fabrics.

Creator Nancy Ganz, also a real fashion designer, knows what the players need to know in order to survive the fashion industry. The aim of the game is to encourage productive peer-to-peer communications, confidence building, and learning the ins and outs of the fashion world.
