Elle Magazine To Honor Top Hollywood Female Celebrities

Beverly Hills, CA (CNS) - Elle magazine is honoring some of the top women in Hollywood on October 6 in Beverly Hills.

As part of the magazine's Women in Hollywood Tribute, Hollywood a-listers such as Nicole Kidman, Salma Hayek and Jane Fonda will be honored by their acting peers.

Nicole Kidman will be presented with the award by Shirley MacLaine, while Salma Hayek is honored by her best friend, Mia Maestro. Jane Fonda's award will be presented to her by Kerry Washington and Courtney Cox will present to Isla Fisher.

Other honorees for the ceremony include Halle Berry, Sigourney Weaver, Anne Hathaway and director Catherine Hardwicke.

This will be the 15 year for the annual gala that honors Tinsel Town's most powerful and celebrated women. The VIP dinner will be held at the Four Seasons hotel.

Last year's honorees included Lauren Bacall, Kate Bosworth, Jennifer Connelly, Amy Adams and Scarlett Johansson.
