Amber Alert Issued For Missing 2-Year-Old Detroit Girl

Detroit, MI (AHN) - An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing 2-year-old girl last seen at a gas station in northwest Detroit last night.

Tangena Hussain, who was last seen a Marathon gas station at 9:30 p.m. Thursday, was being cared for by her mother's boyfriend who is from Bangle dash and speaks Bengali. So police are also searching for a translator, because they are having difficulty communicating with the boyfriend.

The boyfriend was caring for the girl while her mother was working. He told police he left her in the car with the doors locked to go inside to make a purchase and when he returned the child was gone, according to reports.

Hussain is East Indian with light brown complexion, brown eyes and black shoulder length hair. She is 3 feet 2 inches tall, weighs 35 pounds and was last seen wearing a long sleeve brown t-shirt and white nylon cargo pants.
