Carnival Taps Vacationers In Southeastern States For Holiday Cruises

Jacksonville, FL (AHN) - Carnival Fascination, a cruise ship owned by the world's largest cruise line Carnival Cruises, is the largest vessel to call at the Port of Jacksonville in Florida.
From Jacksonville, Fascination will be launched to call in several Bahamian ports and the Key West and will tap first-time cruisers residing in the southeastern states for Fascination's holiday cruises.
The vessel is 855 foot long and has a passenger capacity of 2,052 travelers. Fascination will be permanently based in Jacksonville for a year-round of four- and five-day voyages.
Carnival targets some 170,000 passengers annually, while the Jacksonville Port Authority estimates $30 million in revenues for the local economy.
