Talladega, AL (AHN) - It was a four-wide finish, but it was Todd Bodine who made the pass for the win in the closing yards to win Saturday's Mountain Dew 250 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Talladega Superspeedway.

Kyle Busch was the race's leader exiting Turn 4, but Bodine passed him on the outside and then held off a charging Ron Hornaday as Bodine won his third consecutive restrictor-plate race.

"I didn't know what to think. Going down the back straightaway I was thinking second here,'' said Bodine. "Coming off of (Turn) 4, I hit (Busch) and got him sideways and I had to cut outside of him.''

Bodine had not won this season since taking the season-opener at Daytona, while Saturday's win gave Toyota its 10th Truck win of the season.

Points leader Ron Hornaday placed second to regain the points lead, while Busch settled for third. Hornaday now leads Johnny Benson Jr. by 39 points with five races left in the season.

"There's nothing I could've really done out there,'' said Busch. "Bodine's truck was the strongest Toyota out there today.''

Roush Fenway's Colin Braun led the race and took the white flag with one lap to go, but there was much moving and shuffling in the final 2.66 miles of the race before the last-second dash to the finish.

Braun settled for fourth and Mike Wallace finished fifth. Rounding out the top-10 was Landon Cassill in the Randy Moss Motorsports Chevrolet and he was followed by Brian Scott, T.J. Bell, Mike Skinner and Chad Mccumbee.
