October 6, 2008 7:31 p.m. EST Jan Westmark - Celebrity News Service Boca Raton, FL (CNS) - Florida residents enjoying breakfast out at the Boca Diner Monday morning were surprised when vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin dropped in for a quick bite to eat. The surprise was on the diners, however, as it wasn't really Palin, but a look-alike who had won a radio station contest. The prank was pulled by radio station WKGR-FM 98.7, who said the look-alike Palin who appeared at Boca Diner won the contest as well as a trip to the Bahamas. According to the restaurant manager, the Palin hoax sounded like a "Saturday Night Live" skit. The manager said several black Mercedes Benz and limos pulled up around 8:30 am to the Boca Raton diner and after a few minutes some men in suits entered and checked the restaurant, kitchen and bathrooms. Another five minutes went by before another limo pulled up, people entered the diner and announced "It's Sarah Palin." The restaurant manager said the look-alike said "God Bless America" while several diners started chanting "Maverick, maverick, maverick." The manager did say as soon as "Palin" came in they realized it wasn't her. Another diner apparently didn't realize the scam, however, and became insistent that he wanted to speak with Palin. Palin's Secret Service bodyguards put the guy in a headlock and dragged him out.
