Louisville Mother Murders Two Children, Commits Suicide

Louisville, KY (AHN) - A Louisville mother stabbed her two children to death and then fatally shot herself in the head at her home on Monday, authorities say.

Family members reportedly say the woman had been distraught since her husband's death three years ago.

The dead were identified as Hope Orwick, 35, and her children Emily Orwick, 9, and Lindsey Orwick, 8.

A relative who stopped by the house Monday evening reportedly found the bodies shortly after 7:30 p.m. and called the police.
