October 10, 2008 10:25 a.m. EST Jan Westmark - Celebrity News Service New York, NY (CNS) - Several months after their much publicized divorce trial, former supermodel Christie Brinkley and her now ex-husband Peter Cook are back in the news. Brinkley tried to get a temporary restraining order on Cook, and Cook is appearing with Barbara Walters in a revealing interview on "20/20." Brinkley requested a temporary restraining order barring Cook from seeing their children this weekend, in the wake of the "20/20" interview which will air Friday. That sent lawyers from both sides into court on Wednesday to discuss the matter. On Thursday, Brinkley's lawyer, Robert Stephan Cohen, issued the following statement concerning the judge's ruling: "The court order mandates that since Peter Cook has the children this weekend, his parenting has to be away from his home and he can't expose them to the '20/20" broadcast. Christie Brinkley's sole concern is to protect her children." During their publicized trial, the couple fought viciously, especially through "other sources," and that trend continues. A source close to Cook said Brinkley wanted the temporary restraining order "because the kids are seen in footage during the '20/20' interview." That same source added that they found it silly that Brinkley encourages her children to be in the media but now has a complaint like this. Cook's attorney has said that Cook had not intended for his children to see the TV interview and would take them away on a trip over the weekend.
