October 10, 2008 8:50 p.m. EST Kareem Shaker - AHN Sports Reporter Miami, FL (AHN) - The NFL fined Miami Dolphins running back Ronnie Brown and linemen Vernon Carey and Ikechuku Ndukwe $10,000 each for their participation in a choreographed dance routine after Brown's touchdown in Sunday's win vs. the San Diego Chargers. NFL spokesman Cory Rush stated that choreographed celebrations by two or more players aren't permitted. No flags were thrown at the time in the game, but Brown said he expected disciplinary action. The three Dolphins gathered in the end zone after Brown took a direct shotgun snap and ran 5 yards for what turned out to be the game-winning touchdown. Brown and the two lineman had practiced the dance, which they termed the "Cupid Shuffle". Left tackle Jake Long dropped out of the choreographed routine at the last minute because he didn't want to be fined. Brown and Carey have multi-million dollar contracts, but Ndukwe makes $445,000, the league minimum for second-year players.
