October 11, 2008 3:57 p.m. EST Matt Aug - AHN Sports Editor Norman, Oklahoma (AHN) - Cody Johnson scored on a one-yard touchdown run and Quan Cosby hauled in a pass for the two-point conversion, helping No. 5 Texas knock off top-ranked Oklahoma Saturday in a Big 12 clash. Sam Bradford tossed his fifth touchdown pass, and third to Manuel Johnson, as Oklahoma pulled ahead of Texas 35-30 early in the fourth quarter, though it would be the final score for the Sooners. Colt McCoy hit Jordan Shipley on a short touchdown pass and Hunter Lawrence booted a 28-yard field goal as the Longhorns took a short-lived 30-28 lead. The game was action-packed in the first half, as well, as Shipley raced 96 yards on a kickoff return, as Texas cut Oklahoma's second quarter lead to 14-10. Bradford connected with Johnson on a five-yard touchdown pass play, to put Oklahoma up 7-0, the first on his outstanding day. Bradford hit Ryan Broyles on a eight-yard score early in the second quarter for his second touchdown pass. Hunter Lawrence connected on a 26-yard field goal, for the Longhorns' lone score, which was sandwiched by the Oklahoma touchdowns as the Sooners led 14-3. Gerald McCoy of Oklahoma sacked Texas quarterback McCoy on a third-down run, forcing the Longhorns to settle for the field goal attempt in a battle of McCoys.
