October 11, 2008 6:07 p.m. EST Matt Aug - AHN Sports Editor Timonium, MD (AHN) - Ben Crenshaw, seeking his first tourney championship in 13 years, is in fine form Friday in shooting 4-under 66 to take a one-stroke lead over Fred Funk at the midway point of the Senior Player's Championship. Crenshaw was nothing short of stellar in his long and short game, missing just two of 14 fairways with no three-putts in the second round. Fred Funk, a Maryland native, collected five birdies and three bogeys in a less consistent round than his foe, but sits just one shot back. Gene Jones carded a 66 to finish at 5 under, tied with Tom Jenkins, who shot a 68. Nick Price (66) and Mark O'Meara (67) along with two other players were at 4 under.
