Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Former "Sopranos" star Jamie-Lynn Sigler is joining the list of "celebs that design" by creating her own jewelry line.
Sigler and her friend Holly Freeman are teaming up to create a custom line of bangles and pendant necklaces. The jewelry will be ready for order at the beginning of the year.
Celebrity News Service knows that many fans are annoyed with all of the celebrities that turn to designing -- just check the fan blogs to see the overwhelming criticism each time another celebrity announces they have become a fashion designer.
At least Sigler is doing her own designing, as all of the pieces will be beaded by her and Freeman. Sigler said the duo started designing jewelry when Sigler lived with Freeman in L.A. for a month. She said they would put Freeman's baby to sleep and spend the evening talking and beading.
The new line is made from gold, rose gold and white gold with custom charms or precious stones.
Sigler said she is enjoying the creative outlet of designing jewelry and that, of course, she has always loved accessories.
