Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival Presents Free Screening Of "A Year Without Love"

Ft. Lauderdale, FL (CNS) -- The next Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival won't take place until next Spring, but the organization continues to offer screenings throughout the year, including tonight's free screening of "A Year Without Love (Un A?o Sin Amor)." The film will play at Artserve at 1350, East Sunrise Blvd on Thursday, October 16th at 7pm.
In the Argentinian film, struggling poet Pablo Perez learns that he is living with HIV. Over the course of a year, he struggles with his health, his family and finding love. He finds himself searching for human interaction in hospitals and sex clubs in Buenos Aires before he turns to the idea of publishing his diary about a man living with AIDS.
"A Year Without Love," which has won honors such as Best Feature Film at the Berlin International Film Festival and Outstanding Narrative Feature at L.A. Outfest, will be presented in Spanish with English subtitles. Visit mgllf.com for more information on tonight's screening.
