"9 To 5" Musical, Mary J. Blige And Robin Thicke This Weekend In Los Angeles

Los Angeles, CA (CNS) -- The new musical comedy, "9 to 5," gives it's final preview performances at the Ahmanson Theatre through October 19th. The show, featuring music and lyrics by Dolly Parton, will make its Broadway debut in the Spring. It stars Emmy Award-winner Allison Janney and is directed by Tony Award-winner Joe Mantello of "Wicked".
"The Queen of Hip Hop Soul" Mary J. Blige will perform at the Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal Citywalk on Sunday, October 19th. Blige is touring in support of last year's #1 album, Growing Pains, which yielded the hit dance single "Just Fine." She'll be joined by R&B crooner Robin Thicke who will perform tracks from his latest Top 3 album, Something Else.
Rockers Anberlin will perform at the Glass House in Ponoma on Friday, October 17th, and The Academy Is will play the House of Blues in Anaheim on Saturday, October 18th.
