New York City, NY (AHN) - A purse-snatching grandma with a history of arrests stretching back 30 years was arrested again with the decoy wallet that undercover officers left in a shopping cart concealed under her clothing.

Katherine Kelly, 76, was arrested for the 37th time during a sting operation at an Upper West Side market on Broadway. She had stuffed the wallet into her bra.

Kelly was indicted on undisclosed charges Tuesday, but the original complaint was for grand larceny and attempted grand larceny, according to reports.

Her arraignment is set for Nov. 17.

Kelly, who reportedly has 36 aliases and has listed 32 addresses, including the White House, recently served a year at Rikers Island after she was caught stealing while on parole. She has a history of arrests for picking pockets and stealing purses.
