AHN Staff Washington (AHN) - Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama sounds confident and his Republican rival John McCain is hoping for an upset as the campaign for the most hotly-contested position on the planet enters its last two days. Both candidates are trying their final push to snare the voters nod on November 4, with latest polls showing Obama leading, but some survey suggests that McCain is gaining on the lead. Speaking in Springfield, Obama rallied his supporters with his "We can change," slogan. He yelled, "We can change this country," to the uproar of those who were listening. And with the final days before the balloting, both camps have been burning phone lines, distributing brochures and doing door-to-door campaign that has cost the Republicans and Democrats over $2 billion.
