Kris Alingod - AHN Contributor Lansing, MI (AHN) - Sen. Carl Levin (D-MI) trounced the Republican vying for his Senate seat on Tuesday. The five-term lawmaker was projected the winner of the race; he led with 62 percent of votes after 87 percent of precincts had reported. Levin, chairman of the Senate Armed Services committee, was heavily favored to win and had an average lead of 16 points in polls.
