Cherokee, GA (AHN) - Six Cherokee women have been arrested and were charged with sex crimes after police tracked an online advertisement at Craigslist.com on sex massages provided by them to a farmhouse at the Hickory Flat Community.

Police have been probing the area for six weeks. Arrested were Terri Confer, 55, charged with pimping and keeping a place of prostitution; Cheri Philips, 53, charged with drug possession; while Annie Walker, 43, Deborah Ingram, 42, Carla Fortner, 44, and Jennifer Adams, 22, were charged with masturbation for hire and unlawful massage.

Confer was able to post bail.

At the back of Confer's farmhouse is a barn with two trailers, one inside and another outside, with a hot tub, an outside shower, and an outdoor deck massage.

During the arrest, the home had two customers, while another showed up. Police seized $15,000 in cash, a laptop computer, and illegal drugs.

Craig's List pledged to stop ads on prostitution in an agreement with attorneys general in 40 states, including Georgia.
