Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - "The Cheetah Girls" star Adrienne Bailon is the latest victim of nude photo extortion plot after her private pictures were taken from her laptop in October.

The 25-year-old singer/dancer says her laptop was stolen late last month at the JFK airport in New York.

She filed a report with the authorities, but her record label later received an anonymous phone call form a man claiming he had her laptop and it's on ransom for $1,000.

The meeting was set up at the airport and the exchanging of laptop and cash were met. However, the thief allegedly took Bailon's semi-nude photos from her laptop.

The pictures, which she had taken as an anniversary present for boyfriend Robert Kardashian, are now gracing various websites.

She is now considering legal action against the intruder.

Spokesman Jonathan Jaxson said in a statement, "The photos that have surfaced of Adrienne Bailon were stolen from her laptop over a week ago at an airport in NY and sent to several media outlets. These photos were taken in private."

"Adrienne will be pursuing legal action against the person or person's sending these private photos out. Adrienne is deeply sorry for any pain this may have caused to her fans."
