People's Choice Awards Announces Nominees

Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - People's Choice Awards have announced its nominees, with "Iron Man," "The Dark Knight," and "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" getting multiple nods.
The top grossing "Batman" flick, "The Dark Knight," has scored seven nominations, including Favorite Movie, Favorite Action Movie, Favorite Cast, Favorite Leading Man, Favorite Male Action Star and Favorite Superhero for Christian Bale, as well as Favorite On Screen Match Up for Bale and the late Heath Ledger, who played villain Joker.
Another blockbuster hit, "Iron Man," have scored five nominations, including Favorite Movie.
For the small screen categories, medical dramas "House" and "Grey's Anatomy" vie in for the Favorite TV Drama with "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation."
Also, Britney Spears got one nod for her guest role on "How I Met Your Mother" with Favorite Scene-Stealing Guest Star.
A new special award emerges this year as People magazine coincidentally celebrates its 35th anniversary. The celebrity magazine teams up with the 35th Annual People's Choice Awards for the first ever People's Choice Award for Favorite Star Under 35, wherein over 30 young celebs vie for the special award.
Voting continues until December 7.
