Miami, FL (CNS) - Elton John announced that he and Billy Joel would be touring together once again on the "2009 Face To Face Tour," beginning in March.

He told the women of "The View" that the tour would last "at least two years and go all over the world." The two artists previously went on tour together on the hugely popular "Face To Face" Tour, which first began in 1995. They last toured together in 2003.

"It's something I've looked forward to for a long time," John said. "We haven't done it in a while. I love touring with him. I have the greatest respect for him. We're both such good friends. It's two people for the price of one. Our ticket prices are the same as you'd see anyone else, but there's two of us. In this day and age, we hope to be getting people value for their money."

On the tour, the two rock musicians play their biggest hits as well as performing some duets and some of each other's songs as well. This would be their sixth outing together on the "Face To Face" Tour.

Tour dates have not yet been announced for the 2009 tour. Billy Joel currently sold out some warm-up dates scheduled for January at the Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, FL and a special Valentine's Day show at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
