Ann Arbor, MI (AHN) - Sophomore quarterback Nick Sheridan may start again for Michigan this weekend against Ohio State because of a shoulder injury to Steven Threet, Wolverines coach Rich Rodriguez announced Monday.

Rodriguez said Threet is listed as doubtful for Saturday's game against the Buckeyes, Michigan's final opponent in the regular season.

The erstwhile starter came off the bench last Saturday in Michigan's 21-14 defeat against Northwestern, but appeared to have separated his shoulder in the fourth quarter.

Threet, who has started eight times for the Wolverines this season, sat out the team's 29-6 win over Minnesota on November 8 because of concussion.

Sheridan finished 8-for-29 for 61 yards and had 10 rushes for 35 yards and a touchdown against the Wildcats.

Through seven games, the signal caller has completed 55 of 113 passes for 526 yards and two touchdowns.

Rodriguez also announced that running back Brandon Minor might return this weekend after a shoulder injury sidelined him last week against Northwestern.

Freshman running back Sam McGuffie could be out Saturday because of a death in his family, Rodriguez added.
