Celebrity News Service has been a fan of Cain's since his role as Clark Kent/Superman in the television series "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman." Cain played opposite Teri Hatcher, now of "Desperate Housewives" fame.
In the new Hallmark movie, being shot in Vancouver, con man Shea McCall, played by Cain, wins half a parcel of land over a game of poker, which he has to share with B.J. Stoker. Another hottie, James Tupper, from "Men In Trees," plays Stoker who is known to everyone as a rough 'n' tough cowboy.
The two begin a contentious relationship, one-upping the other over working the land, overseeing the workers, and winning the heart of B.J.'s current "lady friend," Liz Calhoun (Allison Hossack, "Reaper"). When outlaws ride into town with plans to run everyone off the land and take over the town, Shea and B.J must put aside their differences and work together or risk losing everything they have.
"Kingdom Come" will air on the Hallmark Channel in mid 2009.
