Jennifer Aniston Introduces John Mayer To Her Dad

Los Angeles, CA (BANG) - Jennifer Aniston introduced John Mayer to her father and stepmother on Wednesday night. The former "Friends" actress - who has had an on-off relationship with the "Gravity" singer since the summer - met up with her father John and his wife Sherry Rooney Aniston at the exclusive Beverly Hills' Polo Lounge restaurant to debut her lover.

An onlooker said: "Throughout the whole of the dinner, Jennifer and John couldn't keep their hands off each other. Jennifer was constantly rubbing his hair and John was rubbing her back, then every so often they would steal a kiss. They both looked very happy and very much in love."

After sharing a salad and fish entree with Jennifer, the singer attempted to impress TV actor John and his wife with his musical knowledge.

The onlooker added to America's Star magazine: "John spent a lot of time talking about his music philosophies - why certain decades have better music. He discussed his experiences with Aretha Franklin and made a joke about Tom Hanks."

The musician also reportedly joked surviving the experience was like appearing on U.S. TV talent show "Dancing with the Stars," with Sherry laughing: "Should we get our score cards out?"
