Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - A new Hallmark Channel movie called "Moonlight & Mistletoe" is hoping to get everyone in the holiday spirit. The movie stars Tom Arnold and Candace Cameron Bure.
Celebrity News Service has been a fan of Candace's since her days on "Full House," and is glad to see her back on the small screen. Of course Tom Arnold, known for making us laugh since his days on "Roseanne," also stars in the new movie.
The premise of "Moonlight & Mistletoe," is that it's always Christmas in Santaville. Things get tough, however, when the tiny town of Chester, Vermont's year-round yuletide attraction, begins to lose its widespread appeal. On the verge of bankruptcy, the resident St. Nick is hoping for a Christmas miracle to keep his dream from being bulldozed into another mini mall.
Nick Crosby, played by Arnold, is the owner of Santaville and head Santa. One day he is smiling with visitors, the next, he is juggling a cascading stack of bills, unable to pay the rent and blissfully thinking a solution will magically appear. When his daughter - and onetime Number One elf, Holly, played by Bure, returns home, she is shocked to learn of her father's situation. Holly recruits Peter, Nick's employee and master wood craftsman, to devise a solution to the money woes.
"Moonlight & Mistletoe" premieres Saturday, November 29 at 9/8c on the Hallmark Channel.
