Miami, FL (AHN) - A 19-year-old student from a South Florida college broadcasted his suicide on the Internet as his last act.

Broward County police who came to the Pembroke Pines home of Abraham Biggs on Wednesday found the teenager dead on his bed from an overdose of opiates and anti-depression drug benzodiazepine.

Investigators said the victim was still alive 12 hours before the police came to his home. He was blogging about his suicide on Bodybuilding.com and had linked his webcam to Justin.tv, a site that streams live videos from webcams.

Some online viewers apparently encouraged him to kill himself while others tried to talk him out of it. When Biggs was already lying motionless on his bed, a blogger alerted police, who located the teen's home address through his computer's IP address.

A bedroom door being kicked open and a police officer entering to check a teen's body lying on a bed was seen on Justin.tv and is believed to be Biggs' bedroom and himself dead.

The family of Biggs was outraged by the failure of the websites to stop him from committing suicide.
