Seattle, WA (AHN) - Police are looking for a gunman who killed one man and critically injured another in a crowded mall in Washington state Saturday. The gunman disappeared into the crowd of frenzied shoppers.

The shooting may have been gang-related, police said.

The incident occurred Saturday afternoon at the Southcenter Mall in Tukwila, Wash.

It was packed with thousands of pre-holiday shoppers. A pregnant woman appeared to have gone into labor and a man suffered neck injuries as people scrambled away from the mall, police say.

Eye-witnesses told a local television station that there was a fight between a group of young men in their late teens and early 20s, when one of them pulled out a gun and began shooting.

A SWAT team searched the mall store-to-store. Two men were detained, but neither was the shooter.

The mall is located about 14 miles south of Seattle.
