East Rutherford, NJ (AHN) - The defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants are not exactly sneaking up on opponents this season, but quarterback Eli Manning has still led the team to a sparkling 10-1 record.

Manning has been terrific, completing 26-of-33 passes for 240 yards and three touchdowns Sunday, lifting the Giants to a 37-29 win over the Arizona Cardinals.

The solid performance has become par for the course for Manning, who has thrown for over 2,300 yards on the season with 18 touchdowns to just seven interceptions.

The cool, confident but never cocky quarterback is perhaps the main reason the Giants might find themselves in the Super Bowl again.

Manning's output vs. the Cards was actually one of his more prolific of late, marking his first game over 200 yards passing in six weeks.

It's not the stats that matter for Manning, however, it is the winning.

Manning is certainly a winner, leading the G-Men to 14 wins in their last 15 contests, including the team's remarkable playoff run last season.

It may be just the fifth season out of Ole Miss for Manning, but if the 27-year-old can keep up his stellar play for a few more seasons he may just be bound for Canton.

Not bad for a guy that some questioned the team's trade to the Chargers it took to acquire Manning.
