Linda Young - AHN Editor St Petersburg, Russia (AHN) - Russian authorities suspect a grenade might have caused the explosion that blew up a car near a subway station killing three people - including a child - on Tuesday. Victims included a 3-year-old child and the blast took place in St. Petersburg's northern Viborsky district. The car exploded near the entrance to a subway station, killing all three passengers inside, and injuring the driver. Those killed were members of the same family, a father, mother and their child. Police are investigating but believe the blast was caused by a grenade one of the passengers was carrying. They don't believe it was an act of terrorism, but they also don't know why someone would be carrying a grenade.
