Four Journalists Kidnapped In Somalia

Mogadishu, Somalia (AHN) - One British, one Spanish and two Somali journalists have been kidnapped by unidentified gunmen in Somalia.
The two foreigners were in the semi-autonomous northeastern Puntland region to cover piracy off Somalia's coast when they were seize, together with the two local journalists, from their hotel in Bossasso, according to the New York-based Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ). The CPJ learned the kidnapping from Abdiqani Hassan, chairman of the Puntland Journalist Club.
Abdulkebir Musa, Puntland's assistant minister for seaports, and the office of Puntland's president confirmed the kidnapping to foreign news agencies.
The Spanish foreign ministry said they have no words about the condition of the kidnapped Spanish freelance photographer.
