Cape Canaveral, FL (AHN) - Sunday will close the 16-day flight mission of the space shuttle Endeavour.

The crew is expected to land at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida at 1:19 p.m. EST on November 30.

The goal of the STS-126 mission was to prepare the space station for long-term housing needs and swap station resident Sandra Magnus for Greg Chamitoff.

Chamitoff will close-out a five month stay at the space station and be returning to earth with the Endeavour crew.

According to NASA, the new station cargo includes a water recovery system, additional sleeping quarters, a second toilet and a resistance exercise device.

After touchdown in Florida, the crew is expected to hold a news conference at approximately 6 p.m. Sunday.
