David Goodhue - AHN Reporter The British energy industry is prepared for the impacts of climate change, according to an industry-backed study. The study says that the country's infrastructure is already set to meet the challenges climate change might pose. The report also says more needs to be done to help the energy sector prepare for predicted rises in temperatures in the future. Change in electricity demand was one of two broad areas the project highlighted. The other was developing and adapting technologies to future climate. The study recommended that adaptation to climate change should be considered when redesigning or building new power plants.
