Prince Akishino Of Japan Speaks About His Love For His Son During Press Conference

Tokyo, Japan (BANG) - Japan's Prince Akishino spoke about his love for his two-year-old son during a press conference to celebrate his 43rd birthday Sunday.

The prince revealed his son Prince Hisahito is slowly learning to speak, and loves running around and playing outside.

Akishino said: "It seems the scope of Hisahito's interest and activities are expanding. He is playing actively outside and running around."

"He has increased his vocabulary and greeted his grandparents - Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko - by expressing his feelings with his words and gestures."

The prince also opened up about his private life, revealing he and his wife, Princess Kiko, love spending quality time with his brother Crown Prince Naruhito and his wife Crown Princess Masako.

Akishino added he and his daughter - Princess Mako, 17, and 13-year-old Princess Kako - often go for walks with Naruhito and his family.

The prince said: "When I take a walk with my daughters in the Imperial garden, they sometimes play with Naruhito's daughter Princess Aiko."
