Matthew Harvey - AHN Sports Reporter Shenzhen, China (AHN) - Sweden earned its second World Cup title off the clubs of Robert Karlsson and Henrik Stenson, who shot 9-under 63 as a team and toppled the Spaniards Miguel Angel Jimenez and Pablo Larrazabal by three strokes. The stellar round hailed a tremendous come from behind, as they began with a lackluster performance and surged from the middle of the pact, four strokes behind Spain and Australia. Spain collapsed a little in the final two rounds, unable to do better than three birdies and a bogey in the fourth round, which left it vulnerable despite powerful earlier performances. The two Swedes join a very selective list as winners of the event, including famous teams like Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer, and Tiger Woods and David Duval. The last time Sweden won the event was in 1991, when Per-Ulrik Johansson and Anders Forsbrand bested the Wales team by a single stroke. Karlsson has played stellar this season, also claiming two tournament victories on the European tour. Stenson has had a disappointing season, with no tournament victories. He had also made it into the top three in the World Cup in 2005 and 2006, but was unable to pull off a victory.
