Chicago, IL (AHN) - Chicago's police on Monday took custody of Jennifer Hudson's brother-in-law, who is suspected of murdering the Oscar-winning actress' mother, brother and nephew in October.
William Balfour, 27, was transferred from the Stateville Correctional Center, where he was detained for parole violation, to Wentworth Area. The filing of capital murder charges against him is still pending, according to Andy Conklin, a spokesman for the Cook County state's attorney's office.
Balfour, the estranged husband of Hudson's sister, Julia, had a gun investigators said was used in the shooting to death of Darnell Donerson, 57, Jason Hudson, 29, and Julian King, 7, at their Englewood home on Oct. 24.
