Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - The teen heavy show "90210" is adding another pretty young teenager to its lineup. The new West Beverly student is none other than actress Aimee Teegarden, who plays Coach Taylor's daughter on "Friday Night Lights."

Celebrity News Service has learned that Teegarden has only signed on for one episode of The CW's "90210," and that she will play a character named Rhonda who crosses paths with Annie's boyfriend Ethan Ward.

The news has sent "Friday Night Lights" fans into a tailspin as they worry that Teegarden's jumping ship signals the end of "Friday Night Lights." It has been confirmed, however, that Teegarden could appear on both shows. She has finished filming the 13-episode run of "FNL" which is currently running on DirectTV.

"FNL" fans are still in an uproar, though, because networks don't usually let their cast members work on other networks. Fans of "FNL" see this as a sign that their favorite show is doomed.

Meanwhile, fans of "90210" are happy to hear that Teegarden will soon be walking the halls of West Beverly. "I love Aimee, she is a great actress. I hope she gets to stay on '90210,' especially if 'Friday Night Lights' gets cancelled," a fan told Celebrity News Service.
