Anne Lu - Celebrity News Service News Writer Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Another remake is on its way, this time, it's the Michael Douglas-starrer 1984 romance-adventure film "Romancing the Stone." The classic film, which turned Douglas and co-stars Danny DeVito and Kathleen Turner into film stars, will be updated into a more contemporary version by Fox. Daniel McDermott has been tapped to pen its script, as per Hollywood Reporter. "Romancing the Stone" tells the story of a romance novelist (Turner) who travels to Colombia to save her sister, only to meet with an American soldier of fortune. Together, they embarked on a cross-country journey that involves a map and a jewel. No producers have been attached yet to the upcoming project.
